How to download invoices from Xero
Booksmate downloads Xero invoices automatically: add Xero in Booksmate, press Fetch All, and your invoices are downloaded for you. Manual steps are listed below if you prefer to download them yourself.
How do you download a Xero invoice?
From the Xero dashboard, open your organization name, choose Subscription and billing, then View billing account and View invoices. Open an invoice, scroll to Options, and click Download PDF invoice.
- • View invoices opens in a new tab from the billing account menu.
- • Download PDF invoice is under Options on the individual invoice.
Can you download Xero invoices in bulk?
View invoices shows a list and you open each invoice to download its PDF from Options. The manual path is one invoice at a time.

Manually download Xero invoices
- Go to your Xero dashboard
- Click on your organization name in the left sidebar
- Select "Subscription and billing"
- Click the three-dot menu next to your organization name
- Select "View billing account"
- Click the three-dot menu on the right side
- Select "View invoices" (opens in a new tab)
- Click on an individual invoice from the list
- Scroll down to the "Options" section
- Click "Download PDF invoice"
