To look up a Walmart receipt for an in-store card purchase, go to walmart.com/receipt-lookup and enter the store ZIP code or city and state, the purchase date, the card type, the card's last 4 digits and the receipt total, then select Lookup receipt and Download. Online, pickup and delivery orders are already in Purchase History on walmart.com or in the Walmart app.

How to use Walmart receipt lookup
- Open walmart.com/receipt-lookup.
- Enter the store ZIP code or city and state and pick the store.
- Enter the purchase date.
- Pick the card type and enter the last 4 digits.
- Enter the receipt total.
- Complete the Captcha and select Lookup receipt.
- Select Download to save the receipt.
The tool only finds credit and debit card purchases. Take the date and exact total from your card statement. If no result comes back, check the store and the total first. The lookup is for recent purchases.
How to print a Walmart receipt for an online order
- Sign in at walmart.com.
- Open Account, then Purchase History.
- Find the order and select View details.
- Use the Print option or the browser print command (Ctrl+P or Cmd+P) and pick Save as PDF to keep a file.
The order details page shows the items, payment method, tax and total, so the saved PDF works for a return, a warranty claim or your records. On a phone, open the order in the Walmart app, share or save it as a PDF, or open the same order on walmart.com in a browser.
How to get store purchases into Purchase History
Walmart adds in-store purchases to Purchase History when you pay with a card saved to your Walmart.com account (the name on the card must match the account), when you pay with Walmart Pay, or when you scan the paper receipt in the Walmart app (Purchase History, then the scan option). Walmart also adds saved-card store purchases from the last 12 months.
You can turn this off under Account, Communications and privacy, Store purchases. Purchases made with Walmart Pay and receipts you scanned still show if you turn it off.
Lost a Walmart receipt you paid for in cash?
The online lookup cannot find cash purchases. Ask Walmart Customer Service or the store service desk with the store, date, total and items. Keep the bank or card statement line for card purchases as a fallback record, but note a statement line is not an itemized receipt.
Is a Walmart receipt an invoice?
For most purchases the receipt or the order details page is the proof of purchase. Walmart does not usually issue a separate invoice for consumer orders. See invoice vs receipt. Never edit or make up a receipt.

Yes, for card purchases. Use Receipt Lookup with the store, date, card type, last 4 digits and total. If the card is saved to your Walmart.com account, the purchase is already in Purchase History.
Why does Walmart receipt lookup find nothing?
Usually one detail is off: the wrong store, a total that does not include tax, the date, the card type, or a cash or gift card payment. Check the card statement for the exact date and total and try again.
